Hi! We’re Timothy & Barry. In 2004, we met in L.A. and quickly fell in love. Barry had been touring the U.S. as an actor in the musical, “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Timothy joined the company that fall and our “show-mance” blossomed into a romance that has brought us joy ever since. Our careers led us to the east coast in 2008, where we continued work on Broadway. The move also brought us closer to our family and friends. We finally said our “I do’s” in 2014 on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, then settled into our current NJ home that we share with our four-legged Bichon Frise children, Chloe & June. We’re now ready and extremely thrilled to expand our family by sharing an abundance of love in our hearts and our home, with a child.

Our Lives
We’re so excited to begin sharing our lives with a child. We enjoy our time together at home. We take long walks in our beautiful neighborhood, often stopping by our favorite ice cream parlor for a waffle cone. Chloe and June love their walks at the local parks. Timothy relaxes by swimming at the gym. Barry loves gardening and making our home beautiful. On date nights, we treat ourselves to restaurants, movies, Broadway shows and trips to the beach. We take pleasure in entertaining friends and family with backyard BBQs and holiday meals. We have a wonderfully diverse neighborhood with young families; Black, White, Asian, Latino and LGBTQ+. We remain active within our community to keep it safe and helping to maintain quality schools for our future child.
Our Family
Our family is warm and welcoming. Our child will be surrounded by love. Barry is from Washington, D.C. His immediate family includes three brothers and three sisters. Two sisters were recently discovered through DNA and have been wonderful additions to our family ever since. We drive down often for visits, and they visit our home as well. Timothy is from Montgomery, Alabama. He has a younger sister and brother. We take road trips down south to visit his parents, maternal grandmother and other relatives every year. We both have family in the New York/New Jersey area as well. We are also blessed to have a WONDERFUL chosen family that we have created over the years. They may not be blood, but the love and joy they add to our lives is immeasurable!
